Hi, I’m Grace

Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here.

If you’ve found your way to this page, there’s a good chance you’re carrying a lot — a full house, an aging parent, a body that won’t quite cooperate, or a season of life that doesn’t look the way you imagined it would. Maybe you’re tired of the noise and the worry, and you’re looking for a way back to steady ground.

I know that place because I’ve lived in it. I still visit it more often than I’d like.

My Story

I’m a wife and a mother of four. I’ve spent years in administrative roles, holding other people’s schedules together while quietly wondering if I had anything to offer beyond logistics. I’ve walked through a career change that felt more like free-falling than transitioning. I’ve sat in hospital waiting rooms with aging, ailing parents, and I’ve grieved the loss of one of them — a kind of quiet that nothing prepares you for.

Alongside all of that, I’ve dealt with autoimmune issues that taught me, the hard way, that my body keeps its own score of everything I try to push through. I’ve battled imposter syndrome in rooms where I was sure everyone else belonged but me. I’ve wrestled with fear, doubt, and the kind of worry that shows up at 2 a.m. uninvited.

For a long time, I thought stillness was something you found once you got everything else under control — once the kids were older, the diagnosis was clearer, the grief had settled, the doubt had quieted down. I waited for stillness to be the reward at the end of the storm.

It never came that way.

What I found instead was that stillness isn’t the absence of struggle — it’s a practice you return to inside the struggle, again and again, with grace for yourself each time you forget. It’s less about stopping the noise and more about learning to hear God’s voice underneath it.

Why Becoming Still With Grace

This isn’t a place for perfectly resolved stories or tidy five-step solutions. It’s a place I built for women who are doing the very real work of staying faithful, present, and whole while life keeps moving — wives, mothers, daughters, caregivers, women in transition, and women growing quietly into confidence they didn’t know they had.

Here, I share what I’m learning about finding stillness with God in the middle of real life — not after it calms down, but right in the thick of it. The marriage seasons. The parenting chaos. The grief. The health scares. The career pivots. The moments confidence finally outweighs the doubt, even briefly.

If You’re Here

If you’re in a season that feels too full for stillness, I want you to know: that’s exactly the season this is for.

You don’t have to wait until life slows down to come home to yourself and to God. You just have to be willing to keep returning — with grace, every single time.
